About us
Studio29 Performing Arts Academy has been
providing Musical theatre, Contemporary Dance, Drama, Singing and Dance Fit lessons/classes in Newark, Fernwood and Balderton for over 7 years. Our
professionally trained and experienced staff will be providing an opportunity for your child to experience high-quality classes on a weekly basis. Each session is individually
tailored to their group and are designed to develop, improve and teach the
students in how to perform and apply a variety of dance, singing and acting
compositions to the best of their ability. One of the highlights for our pupils is our yearly
staged showcase
performed in front of an audience filled with family and friends. Studio29 will create a challenging, fun and interactive
environment allowing your child to work collaboratively, improve confidence, make new friends, and
develop new skills.

Our Classes
As well as teaching technique and providing an opportunity for every child to develop and learn new skills, our classes will also improve your child's:
- Leadership skills
- Ability to follow direction and instructions
- Ability to listen and take in other group and individual ideas
- Confidence in large and small groups
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to present their ideas and thoughts clearly to a group
- Memory by developing skills in ways of retaining lines from scripts, direction and dance choreography
- Ability to develop their own strategies to deal with nerves

Parent to Amelia (4 years)
My 4 year old absolutely loves dancing at Studio29. She started at 3 and has gained a lot of confidence! She is always so excited to go and leaves happy, asking how long until her next class.
